—THE SECOND WEEK—
On this fine Monday morning, all facilities have been cleared of damages (the washing machine, if we need to be specific). It is almost like none of the wild events that transpired last week ever happened. For some of you, it's easier to remember — your rooms are emptier than before, after all. In the end, the only remnants of those gone are your memories of them.
There is something off starting this Monday... If you stare at a spot for too long, the space distorts or pieces of it shift out of place for a second, then it's gone in one wink. Maybe your eyes are playing tricks on you? Maybe you need to sleep...? You don't feel weary. You feel fine.
Again, this week, the seers encourage participation in spite of tragedies and oddities. It's at the park — a favorite place for the NPCs. For this week, there are no white tables and tea sets, but instead tables of gardening tools. Uniforms are provided, for there are hive boxes (they're also called brood boxes) around the park.
OUTSIDE 🐝F EDEN
(a gardening and beekeeping workshop)
There are many things you can plant from herbs to flowers, which characters may find they grow at a faster rate. For beekeeping, characters will be instructed on how to care for bees and harvest honey! Yes, if you were wondering, these are the same bees from last Wednesday.
Instructed by whom? Well, this is the kicker, you must befriend or subjugate a bee, then they will help you by pollinating your plants and giving you guidance with the hive boxes.
How to tame them? The NPCs have provided the bees' favorite flowers... But if that doesn't work, they also provide tiny cuffs to arrest them.
Some observers may stray as they very well please, but you can talk to them for whatever reason.

MINGLE SUMMARY
- Locations have been cleaned up! However, if you stare at a spot for too long, it gets weird and distorts. HUh.
- NPCs are hosting a Outside of Eden event, which is a gardening and beekeeping event. Plant flowers, grow greens, harvest honey, and care for bees! But... Yeah. You have to get a bee buddy first.
- NPCs may also be spoken to on the mingle or privately at the church.
- Powers are still in effect. Consider using what you have for fun when you find the chance.
IMPORTANT STUFF
- Mini-CYOAs are OPEN. When we reach our cap for Mini-CYOAs, the thread will be frozen. We highly encourage organizing so no two groups or more hit the same location.
- Confessional is still OPEN until Friday evening.
- Most importantly, murder proposals and pathing submissions are OPEN! They will close on Tuesday pst morning/est noon.

Marigolds and mint. I don't know what bees like, but I assume anything colorful will get their attention.
[She smiles, welcoming]
Have you planted anything ever before?

[ he has no fucking clue. he is also now sort of warily looking at the end of the bright red scarf around his neck, completely unaware that bees don't even see red. ]
Well, I— sort of.
[ he motions to the tiny badge pinned to the lapel of the red coat he has over his shoulders! ]
See, a prosecutor's badge has these white christmas— uh, chrysa.... [ ... ] ...mum petals on it, so I always thought it would be neat to plant them in our front yard, as a way of showing everyone on the street that the best prosecutors lived there!
...But, um, I guess I planted them too close to the driveway, so they just got run over.
no subject
Sorry. That was not at all what I expected.
[Maya is apologetic, hiding her face with a hand for a few seconds until she has composed herself]
The word is 'chrysantemum'. Will you try to plant them again? Further away from the driveway, of course.
no subject
Chrys......
[ ...okay, he needs to just stare at that word in writing for a while, because his head is still trying to say crystalanthemums or something but at least he's got a reference for how it's supposed to sound now. ]
I-I don't know, maybe? I didn't really want to try again after that... but I guess I was sort of thinking I could try it here, since we're planting things anyway.
no subject
[She probably can remember the word because she saw it in a book somewhere, yeah]
Try it again once you're back home. It's just a small thing, planting flowers, but in life you have to do your best no matter how small it is.
[Encouragement!]
I'll try to give you a pointer or two. I'm no expert gardener, but I know enough.
no subject
[ got it!!!! ]
Planting them again is the best thing...
[ nods to himself ]
Okay, then I guess I can try it. Maybe closer to the front door this time?
no subject
[Maya nods. You got the word, kid, nice one]
That should be about right. Why did your profession choose those flowers to represent prosecutors, anyway?

[She seems pretty thoughtful about that! Can't judge a book by its cover -- and Sebastian definitely isn't the kind of person she expected to see in a law career, much less in the accusation side!]
no subject
Why not? Law is one of the most extinguished professions out there!
no subject
[Because a lot of people where she came from sure would go and extinguish the people who lock them in jail, but she doesn't say that because Sebastian doesn't need that in his life, this poor kid]
I think you meant distinguished, though.
[Because she's...pretty sure he wouldn't say so nonchalantly he's in a profession that will lead to him getting extinguished]

[She finishes planting the sapling, stepping back so Sebastian can try doing the same, the same way she did]
Anyone can see you take a lot of pride in your line of work. Not bad, Sebastian.
[The results leave a lot to be desired but hey, the attitude is there and that will help.
........
Get it together, though, you really should]
