—THE SECOND WEEK—
On this fine Monday morning, all facilities have been cleared of damages (the washing machine, if we need to be specific). It is almost like none of the wild events that transpired last week ever happened. For some of you, it's easier to remember — your rooms are emptier than before, after all. In the end, the only remnants of those gone are your memories of them.
There is something off starting this Monday... If you stare at a spot for too long, the space distorts or pieces of it shift out of place for a second, then it's gone in one wink. Maybe your eyes are playing tricks on you? Maybe you need to sleep...? You don't feel weary. You feel fine.
Again, this week, the seers encourage participation in spite of tragedies and oddities. It's at the park — a favorite place for the NPCs. For this week, there are no white tables and tea sets, but instead tables of gardening tools. Uniforms are provided, for there are hive boxes (they're also called brood boxes) around the park.
OUTSIDE 🐝F EDEN
(a gardening and beekeeping workshop)
There are many things you can plant from herbs to flowers, which characters may find they grow at a faster rate. For beekeeping, characters will be instructed on how to care for bees and harvest honey! Yes, if you were wondering, these are the same bees from last Wednesday.
Instructed by whom? Well, this is the kicker, you must befriend or subjugate a bee, then they will help you by pollinating your plants and giving you guidance with the hive boxes.
How to tame them? The NPCs have provided the bees' favorite flowers... But if that doesn't work, they also provide tiny cuffs to arrest them.
Some observers may stray as they very well please, but you can talk to them for whatever reason.

MINGLE SUMMARY
- Locations have been cleaned up! However, if you stare at a spot for too long, it gets weird and distorts. HUh.
- NPCs are hosting a Outside of Eden event, which is a gardening and beekeeping event. Plant flowers, grow greens, harvest honey, and care for bees! But... Yeah. You have to get a bee buddy first.
- NPCs may also be spoken to on the mingle or privately at the church.
- Powers are still in effect. Consider using what you have for fun when you find the chance.
IMPORTANT STUFF
- Mini-CYOAs are OPEN. When we reach our cap for Mini-CYOAs, the thread will be frozen. We highly encourage organizing so no two groups or more hit the same location.
- Confessional is still OPEN until Friday evening.
- Most importantly, murder proposals and pathing submissions are OPEN! They will close on Tuesday pst morning/est noon.

MINI-EVENT
[ Good morning, sinners. Hope you've had a good breakfast! Or are currently having one, at any rate, because you'll be stepping out of the diner or walking out of your inns to something weird... again. ]
Good morning. You will discover today that some locations have been altered to suit some voiced desires. Today's activities are less engaged, more for the focus of... relaxing. We hope that this will alleviate some of the tension that you doubtlessly carry after the weekend's conclusion, and remind you that you are three-quarters of the way through the study.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that there is a gift for you waiting in the town hall as well.
[ Wonder what that could be? Well, come by and check it out! It's not like it's going anywhere. ]
Good morning, welcome to your W2 mini-event. This time, we will only have two parts; we have this one right here, and there will be a second smaller thing later in the day. This one won't be as big as W1's, and is still optional, though participation is encouraged from both IC/OOC perspectives!
BLOCK 1
Furthermore, come to the town hall and you'll find... that there is a wonderful table spread of what seems to be drinks. Spoilers, they're all lemonade and/or wine. However, they're all sorts of variants of lemonades, from standard to cocktails/mocktails. They're all in these glasses though. It looks and smells really good, and have a taste — it tastes positively... heavenly. However, when you drink it, the following happens:
just keep scrolling... nothing to see...
i.
[ Also waiting for everyone at town hall is one (1) Sylvain. He looks like he's barely gotten any sleep and yet is still properly groomed and looking excitable? Maybe a little deranged? It's probably the sleep deprivation, don't worry too much about it.
Behind him is a large, hand-drawn, and very simplified version of this map. It's mostly accurate (though who here would know), and broadly labeled with Adrestian Empire, Leicester Alliance, and Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. At the northern area of the image, the regions of Gautier and Sreng have also been labeled and generously circled, with a broken heart symbol drawn over the border line. ]
I wanted to talk to you guys today about something weighing on my mind lately. My home you see, [ pointing to Gautier ] exists on stolen grounds. Much of our lands were annexed from the Sreng people [ pointer slides over ], when King Lambert of Faerghus led an invasion in the Imperial Year of 1168—some 18 years ago.
What for? I dunno! His royal ego, maybe. It's all wasteland and rocky dessert out there.
So anyway, even before all that, my house has been fending off warrior clans from Sreng for as long as anyone can remember. Pretty exhausting.
I think we should give back everything that was taken, and to offer reparations on top. Unfortunately it's not that easy—Faerghus just went through a long and terrible war elsewhere, and we don't have anything much to offer while we try to rebuild. And it's not like you can just waltz into Sreng territory either, without expecting an arrow or axe to the head.
But you know, we have to start somewhere. There's high risk involved, but it's the right thing to do. We have to put all this violence behind us, and move forward. And if you have any thoughts on the matter, I'd love to hear them!
[ he'll probably go on for another minute or two about how everyone should make love and not war! yeah!!! ]
ii.
[ when he eventually drinks one of the beverages, because wow he sure did talk A Lot, the following slips out. i get it, nobody wants to talk about 3h politics LEAST OF ALL ME, ]
I hit on my friend's grandmother when I was eight. She's still mad at me about it... Also tried [ SO BADLY ] to get involved with Lord Gwendal's daughter when I was fifteen, despite the political scandal it would cause. I'm sorry! I was young and stupid back then. [ he still is ] I'll be a better man. [ will he ]
i

If that is what you think is best for your region and country, go forward with it even if it is dangerous.
If you have the will, you will find a way. Even if it will take years, your effort should pay off.
It can happen.
[ unlike maya, jeanne doesn't think it's impossible to happen in his lifetime, but she is also.... someone who burned for her country and she really isn't the best example to follow. ]

It means before long a skag appeared in sight, between the trees. it's a beast of considerable size and unpleasant appearance even though it's colored gold and white. Maya immediately gets her guard up, expecting it to lunge at her, but it doesn't.
In fact, it seems very docile.
If anyone is nearby she motions at them to leave]
Let's go. I have seen docile ones before but they're not common. Don't risk getting your arm ripped from your body.
[She says that as the skag rolls on the ground like some kind of overgrown mutant canine. Yeah, this one is harmless, but Maya isn't convinced at all. Pet under your own risk, if you dare! Or you could go with her and leave, that's an option too.]

STANDS UP ]
When I do that thing where I extend my baton and then turn to the side, I stole that from my assistant because I thought the way she pulled out her gavel looked cool! [ points to crowley ] And when that guy bit me, it, um, k-kind of felt good! And I'm starting to get a little tired of sardines but I'm going to keep eating them anyway!!

Dogs are good.]

[Sure he'll take a sip.
Oh no.]
On occasion, when a prinny has been particularly well behaved they'll be paid an extra sardine. I had no idea the angel who joined my party was Artina until she revealed herself. Sometimes I magichange a prinny into a bow if I can't reach the target with a spear or a sword.

When Toma-san accused me of missing the crucial shot in that one match, I was lyin' when I said it was 'cause it's hard to shoot someone small and cute! I mean, I was tellin' the truth when I said I've always kinda wanted a little sister 'cause I'm an only child, but I don't really have an issue with fighting younger girls and only said that to save face...
[thank god he will be less embarrassed than some people about these confessions later probably]

Before going out to war I spent the night having my chastity questioned and taking care of my friend who got sick from drinking too much. Then he confessed to me all because he couldn’t get it up.
[ He blinks twice, his smile a little forced. ]
Haha, I miss him? I guess.

[Ango looks at these drinks.
He looks at the people drinking the drinks.
He looks at how everyone is confessing things after drinking said drinks.
And then he just. Casually pushes away the drink that's on the table next to him, It's really tempting, but no. He must be strong. Nobody's hearing his embarrassing shit, fuck that.]

... Although I wouldn't call what we had "love," I still yearn for my ex-lover. [She tucks her hair behind her ear, sighing wistfully.] The woman he knew is gone. I was forced to fake my disappearance and abandon my previous identity, he can't recognize me as I am now, so of course... it's foolish to even think about it, so why, your honor...?
[A beat. And she knocks back the rest of her drink to avoid contemplating anything of what she just said.]

BLOCK 2
The paper appears to be some kind of small mini-survey that asks — how are you feeling? What is your emotion? What are you thoughts on the study by far? What are your thoughts on your fellow participants, after the events of this week? Do you want to see everyone again?
It appears to be optional, but it does seem to be a midway vibe check for you to fill out. You'll get a nice lemon-flavored candy for your woes if you do. ]

This is all probably a waste of ink, isn't it?
[Not that it'll stop her from writing her thoughts about the study. What she wrote in the part about the thoughts on the study is very passive aggressive, all things considered.

Most of the others are pretty cool. Mr. Valvatorez and Jeanne both came to check on me last week, and they're really good listeners. The doctor who gave me stitches was nice and helped me find an awesome scarf afterward! Koji's a cool guy and it's good to have someone the same age as me here. I never really hung out with my classmates much but I think it's probably kind of like that? Maya's been really nice, and I used to be scared of Miss Akeha, but I guess she's actually pretty OK. And kind of sad. I don't know if we're supposed to include the people who died, but I kind of miss Luchino.
I wouldn't mind seeing anyone here again EXCEPT FOR THAT OTHER VAMPIRE he's the worst
[ there are several sections in there where the writing suddenly gets really messy and smudged while he's trying to make the crab go away. ]
