—THE SECOND WEEK—

On this fine Monday morning, all facilities have been cleared of damages (the washing machine, if we need to be specific). It is almost like none of the wild events that transpired last week ever happened. For some of you, it's easier to remember — your rooms are emptier than before, after all. In the end, the only remnants of those gone are your memories of them.

There is something off starting this Monday... If you stare at a spot for too long, the space distorts or pieces of it shift out of place for a second, then it's gone in one wink. Maybe your eyes are playing tricks on you? Maybe you need to sleep...? You don't feel weary. You feel fine.

Again, this week, the seers encourage participation in spite of tragedies and oddities. It's at the park — a favorite place for the NPCs. For this week, there are no white tables and tea sets, but instead tables of gardening tools. Uniforms are provided, for there are hive boxes (they're also called brood boxes) around the park.

OUTSIDE 🐝F EDEN

There are many things you can plant from herbs to flowers, which characters may find they grow at a faster rate. For beekeeping, characters will be instructed on how to care for bees and harvest honey! Yes, if you were wondering, these are the same bees from last Wednesday.

Instructed by whom? Well, this is the kicker, you must befriend or subjugate a bee, then they will help you by pollinating your plants and giving you guidance with the hive boxes.

How to tame them? The NPCs have provided the bees' favorite flowers... But if that doesn't work, they also provide tiny cuffs to arrest them.

Some observers may stray as they very well please, but you can talk to them for whatever reason.

MINGLE SUMMARY

Locations have been cleaned up! However, if you stare at a spot for too long, it gets weird and distorts. HUh.
NPCs are hosting a Outside of Eden event, which is a gardening and beekeeping event. Plant flowers, grow greens, harvest honey, and care for bees! But... Yeah. You have to get a bee buddy first.
NPCs may also be spoken to on the mingle or privately at the church.
Powers are still in effect. Consider using what you have for fun when you find the chance.

[ Oh god. Sebastian was really hoping he would not actually find anything creepy on his attempt at patrolling, but HERE WE ARE hahaha... soooo he will just run to get Maya just in case because she said before that she'd protect him!!

[There we go. As Maya had told Ango: she was surprised there had been no incidents so far. She never patroled because, well, she's focusing her efforts more on trying to take care of a select few instead of trying to protect everyone -- selecting to think most would be capable of taking care of themselves -- but she did stay attentive to anything that hinted something bad happened.

Sebastian coming to get her sure is a gigantic hint on this regard!

[There may not be attackers marauding around here right now, probably, but better safe than sorry! Having said that, Maya takes the lead, entering slowly and very vigilant to anything that could hint they weren't alone.

So! What will we find? Shall we stumble upon more suggestive pony rap? Or confession boxes on fire? Or herpetologists?]

[ ... Is there rap in Pony...? Anyway, as they approach and enter the building, they will find that cathedral is fortunately not on fire. It is not a thisisfine.jpg moment, but instead the pews are in a disarray. many are out of place, some toppled over, and a handful have taken quite a beating.

It is a MESS here... And as we know with messes. the location distorts slightly more than usual while they're here. Areas shift here and there, but the scene stays.

It's hard to know where it begins and where it ends? But they may be able to follow some drops of blood from the entrance going in. ]

[ He is indeed staying close. No fire is good, at least, but... ]

[ Why is there blood!!! He kind hopes it will glitch out of here if he looks at it long enough but... nope....... ]

[Oh, yes, the sight of blood proves this is no mere vandalism. There's murderrrrrrr]

Try to keep an eye for any clues, just in case. Anything you think we should remember.

[Feels futile to make such a request, though...everything will disappear in a moment, and there glitches going on. Still, it's something to stay busy with and not lose control. So, she leads Sebastian down the cathedral, towards the other end of the building. Corpse searching time!]

[ Maya leads Sebastian down the aisle, but today is not a fine day, is it? It's barely an aisle with how much of a mess the place is. It's also difficult to see if there may be other things to keep note... Whenever they look at a space for too long, searching and scouring, the distortion obscures it.

They eventually reach the back of the cathedral without problems, seeing that the altar is still pristine. However, the smell of blood is more palpable here, likewise the distortion becomes more intense. The two of them can make out there's something on the floor on the other side. ]

[ No, this day kind of sucks!!! He's still trying really hard to note anything that could potentially be useful for when they actually investigate but THANKS A LOT, DISTORTION, LOVE THE INTERFERENCE

He frowns at the stronger blood smell and squints at whatever is on the floor from, uh, over here. ]

Is that...?

[Maya steels herself, getting ready for what could be a potentially distressing sight. Slowly, she begins inching to look at the something on the floor.

Last time she didn't get to see Thanatos' corpse, since it was hidden. It's possible this time, the body is in plain sight]

[ Will they get to see a body this Thursday afternoon? Let's see. Maya inches forward and I assume Sebastian is sticking close to her. The distortions continue, more aggressive and harsher, but they can make out that there's a body.

The body is positioned with their arms folded, eyes closed, as if they're simply put to sleep, but death is easy to sense for those familiar. Or if you can tell the signs. They can make out the serene face, lulled into peaceful slumber, but the blood on her pale skin tells a tale.

Akeha is dead.

As they identify her, the whole location glitches and distorts with a loud clammering. In a wink, the cathedral has been reset... Pews back in order, body gone, as if nothing happened. The bulletin says otherwise, however. ]

[ Oh...... he'd just stopped being terrified of her too... ]

[Maya barely had managed to make a move towards Akeha. Contrary to what most would say, it wasn't for looting, she saw her position that seemed like slumber and moved without thinking. Then she was gone.

Nothing that could be done]
