—THE SECOND TRIAL—

Once again, at 9 AM sharp, a familiar bell tolls to alert the hour. You've become familiar with the flow of things, haven't you? You know what tod o — find your answers before the final ring chimes. Even if you try to avoid it, eventually your legs will bring you towards where you know you'll have to be. The courtroom doors swing open, welcoming.

Come by again, and it looks just like last week. Take your seat on any one you wish, and peruse the table lined with (non-alcoholic) refreshments and snacks. The same sign, promising a lunch break. And of course, your observers, sitting by the jury's seat shuffling about a stack of papers. Ask your questions and they will answer.

The judge's seat shows the same message as it has always done: "GRANT WE THINE JUDGMENT — ABSOLVE THEE THINE GUILT," and the same, strange, incorporeal form stays seated at the high seat, hand resting unto a gavel's handle.

"Today we will be investigating the cases of: Akeha, Valvatorez, and Vicious. Court is now in session."

The same blue, translucent field prevents you from leaving freely once you're in. You know the drill, don't you?

TRIAL RUNDOWN

• Trial for these three cases (Akeha, Valvatorez, Vicious) will last 9 hours. Characters will have time to examine the bodies of the victim and explore relevant locations.
• Mod break will be at ⏰【1:00 PM PST】.
• Characters must vote for whom they believe to be the guilty party by ⏰【6:00 PM PST】. Voting is mandatory. With the last part of trial live, we will be accepting the submitted FINAL ANSWERS as everyone's collective vote!
• The judge is flavor text. Do not try to talk to them.

[ Unfortunately, they are Vicious-coloured. Fortunately, they are not fleshy.

He's not broken into a bunch of small pieces, just a couple of large chonks — he's still very recognisably Vicious. ]

Is there anything she can notice at a glance besides the fact that he's chonked? Like, is he split up into even pieces (like arms, torso, legs, head, etc.) or does it all look more haphazard, like he was just shattered and this is how he naturally broke apart?]

[ It's rather haphazard! His head is off, at least, and so is an arm. His torso is a crack point too. Aside from these larger chonks, there's also smaller crumbles just around the table.

His arm is holding something. ]

[Hm... The smaller crumbles are part of him, too? Or do they seem to be made from a different material?

Is Vicious' finger on the gun's trigger? Saki will check how he's holding it, first, before she covers her hand with her sleeve to try and remove it. Carefully. If it won't come out easily, she will let it be for now.]

[ They are parts of him yes, looks like. It's very weird to see.

He is indeed holding it like it was being wielded at the time, with finger on the trigger.

Upon touching him, she will feel that he is very hard (shut up). Very stone-like in feel. The fingers will not let go of the gun, so you might just have to take the entire arm with you. ]

She will piece him together then, to try and see if there's an epicenter for his shattering. Is he all here?]

[ Sure, plus or minus small shards from the breakpoints.

There doesn't seem to be any specific "epicenter" for his shattering -- just brutal impact points around his neck and torso in general. Looks like it was a multi-hit job. ]

[Gotcha. How big are the impact points? And do they have a particular shape or depth to them? Like, getting hit by a blunt object versus getting hit by something sharper.]

[ It do appear to be impacts caused by a blunt object, yep! Each one is, let's say, at least the size of Saki's fist. ]

[Hm... No particular shape the them either, right? She's thinking of the instruments in the orchestral hall, if there are any that have a side around the size of her fist...

With him put together, are there any other marks on him besides the cracks? She will start with the head and work her way down, turning his pieces over to check the back as well.]

[ Nope, no specific, odd shape to the impact points.

She will not see anything else on him, funnily enough. No extra scratches or blood or stab wounds, just chonks and broken bits. ]

By the way, since she pieced him together, did he seem to be in any particular pose when he got chonked?

She will take a look at the expression on his face, too.]

[ It looks like... he's got his really wack gunblade out, pointed at something! His expression is something like, angry/annoyed. ]

And just to doublecheck, even though his new stony self itself isn't damaged beyond the cracks— does it look like he might have taken any sort of his before getting medusa'd? She's looking for signs of torn clothes, or weird bumps and indents on the surface. If that makes sense.]
