—THE SECOND TRIAL—

Once again, at 9 AM sharp, a familiar bell tolls to alert the hour. You've become familiar with the flow of things, haven't you? You know what tod o — find your answers before the final ring chimes. Even if you try to avoid it, eventually your legs will bring you towards where you know you'll have to be. The courtroom doors swing open, welcoming.

Come by again, and it looks just like last week. Take your seat on any one you wish, and peruse the table lined with (non-alcoholic) refreshments and snacks. The same sign, promising a lunch break. And of course, your observers, sitting by the jury's seat shuffling about a stack of papers. Ask your questions and they will answer.

The judge's seat shows the same message as it has always done: "GRANT WE THINE JUDGMENT — ABSOLVE THEE THINE GUILT," and the same, strange, incorporeal form stays seated at the high seat, hand resting unto a gavel's handle.

"Today we will be investigating the cases of: Akeha, Valvatorez, and Vicious. Court is now in session."

The same blue, translucent field prevents you from leaving freely once you're in. You know the drill, don't you?

TRIAL RUNDOWN

Trial for these three cases (Akeha, Valvatorez, Vicious) will last 9 hours. Characters will have time to examine the bodies of the victim and explore relevant locations.
Mod break will be at ⏰【1:00 PM PST】.

I think it's just funny. A bunch of alcohol and sardines coming through... doesn't it make you think of two people in particular?

[ While Jeanne is inspecting the smears Crowley is inspecting her --

[ Quietly also adds in belatedly there is something right beside the small pool since I forgot. Crowley can get a better look at it as he passes by. Whatever it is, it looks long. Everything else about the cathedral is what he has seen already — mass destruction! Pews everywhere, some damaged to hell, sardines here, some blood there, etc.

But large pool! The smears are kind of thick, like the object that made them was in the blood pool for some time and slid out. It does not "point" or extend toward the small pool. ]

It does. It's too much to be a coincidence, isn't it?

but okay, if she looks in the direction of where those smears go, is there anything else to be found? anything sticking out? anything laying around, either like or unlike whatever it is that crowley passed by? ]

But yes Crowley will inspect what's beside the small pool... why is it long. I'm scared. ]

[ There's nothing to be found at the direction of the smears! Nothing sticking out or different from pews in a disarray, maybe a sardine here and there, and some blood on random places. It is simply this smear, somewhat thick and messy that extends out of the pool itself... It is however tapered toward the end, thicker where it meets the pool.

Well! I'm sure both Jeanne and Crowley have seen Akeha's sword in trial last week, so Crowley can easily identify it is the katana by the small pool. ]

I don't see why it has to be sardines.

[ Jeanne will look over by the small pool. ]

That's Akeha's sword, isn't it?.

[ She will then go towards the altar and the statues. Is that all okay? Is anything off about those? ]

It sure is.

[ He leans down with a huff, picking up the blade. Examine time later when it's at the evidence table, he's just gonna keep it close... fweind... your sword... pleading face emoji. ]

So about drinking your blood.

[ The altar and statues themselves are untouched! Very pristine in this back of the church. Damn. Why they gotta mess the REST OF THE CHURCH?

As Jeanne does circle around the altar to the other side and while Crowley is next to the smaller blool, they can see that it's a small puddle of blood among more messy blood smears on the floor. The culmination of smears here make up something... Person-shaped? A little bit. ]

[ it'd be nice if THEY LEFT THE CHURCH ALONE IN GENERAL, jeanne thinks, maybe.

is this smear person shape.... a tall person shape because there are too many tall people here or an average person shape?

she looks over at crowley. ]

They're really gonna have to make comparison based on is this person as big as Crowley or as small as Jeanne. Crying. ]
