w2 trial.
—THE SECOND TRIAL—
Once again, at 9 AM sharp, a familiar bell tolls to alert the hour. You've become familiar with the flow of things, haven't you? You know what tod o — find your answers before the final ring chimes. Even if you try to avoid it, eventually your legs will bring you towards where you know you'll have to be. The courtroom doors swing open, welcoming.
Come by again, and it looks just like last week. Take your seat on any one you wish, and peruse the table lined with (non-alcoholic) refreshments and snacks. The same sign, promising a lunch break. And of course, your observers, sitting by the jury's seat shuffling about a stack of papers. Ask your questions and they will answer.
The judge's seat shows the same message as it has always done: "GRANT WE THINE JUDGMENT — ABSOLVE THEE THINE GUILT," and the same, strange, incorporeal form stays seated at the high seat, hand resting unto a gavel's handle.
The same blue, translucent field prevents you from leaving freely once you're in. You know the drill, don't you?
TRIAL RUNDOWN
- Trial for these three cases (Akeha, Valvatorez, Vicious) will last 9 hours. Characters will have time to examine the bodies of the victim and explore relevant locations.
- Mod break will be at ⏰【1:00 PM PST】.

also if theoretically someone could've been lying in this pool, can oki get a sense of roughly what their height would be? like, valvatorez-sized maybe?

Oki will peer closely at the blood, slipping into his mind palace, becoming one with the blood to tell of its secrets... it says... One of the most interesting facts about the Pacific sardine is that a school of sardines can be so big that they can take up miles of space underwater.
Sure, he can tell that this is valvatorez-sized, it's a fair assumption that his body was likely here. Looking around, there does not seem to be any other smears than the footprints, ones he finds leading away from this spot... he'll find that those fade off into nothing eventually down the path.]

2) nothing else to be found around the fountain area! seems like you found everything worth noting, like the path leading to a clothing store.
3) yes. If Sebastian stands close to Venus, he will find a comforting and high-temperature heat that will speed-dry him.
There are technically stalls all around the inner area given the design of the location, while the stores themselves are more in the background all around. This clothing store, that is being led to from the fading footprints, is a different direction from the destroyed stalls yes. As soon as Oki approaches, he'll find the doors wide open and can already see inside it's a bit messed up. Clothes are just strewn about and all over the store. Even in messy piles. Hello?? ]

[Leave it for another group or continue? You seem to have some time. Though, just for a split moment, Venus seems to hiccup, their flames turning a bright blue before flickering back to red with a few sparks of fire atop their head. They clear their 'throat.' Anyways!]

[They sound pleased by their resolve to continue on. Yes, more time to be here than with stuffy paperwork. So, they take their leave from the clothing store and return to the beginning point they were at the start of this investigation.
As they approach the stalls now, they will find.. well, the obvious destruction. Quite a few stalls are broken. One notably is some very noticeable markings on the structure of the wood. Yikes.
And yet, all of a sudden, the area glitches, it grows increasingly distorted, the color of everything seems to invert and statically before suddenly-- everything is back to normal. "Normal" in that all that destruction? Is gone. ]
...Ah? Apologies, give us one.. [They take a moment to look at the files, their flames puffing out.] Oh no. It see▓▓ the da▓▓ has been ▓▓▓upted.
[ Oh boy. They hiccup again, their flames a blue color now, flickering wildly and finally settles.] It would seem we won't be able to find anything now. This one will return you to the courtroom and see about fixing this issue. Let us return swiftly.
[No more investigating. :( Looks like Venus will hurriedly rush you both back to everyone else!]

[ ALSO if we haven't done this already he's just going to make sure to try to transfer one of the clearer footprints from the fountain onto some notebook paper quick as they head out since he doesn't want to FUCK IT UP LIKE LAST WEEK ]
