w2 trial.
—THE SECOND TRIAL—
Once again, at 9 AM sharp, a familiar bell tolls to alert the hour. You've become familiar with the flow of things, haven't you? You know what tod o — find your answers before the final ring chimes. Even if you try to avoid it, eventually your legs will bring you towards where you know you'll have to be. The courtroom doors swing open, welcoming.
Come by again, and it looks just like last week. Take your seat on any one you wish, and peruse the table lined with (non-alcoholic) refreshments and snacks. The same sign, promising a lunch break. And of course, your observers, sitting by the jury's seat shuffling about a stack of papers. Ask your questions and they will answer.
The judge's seat shows the same message as it has always done: "GRANT WE THINE JUDGMENT — ABSOLVE THEE THINE GUILT," and the same, strange, incorporeal form stays seated at the high seat, hand resting unto a gavel's handle.
The same blue, translucent field prevents you from leaving freely once you're in. You know the drill, don't you?
TRIAL RUNDOWN
- Trial for these three cases (Akeha, Valvatorez, Vicious) will last 9 hours. Characters will have time to examine the bodies of the victim and explore relevant locations.
- Mod break will be at ⏰【1:00 PM PST】.

FINAL RESULTS
When the clock strikes the end of trial, the judge loudly bangs their gavel. This time there is no simulacra of soft gossiping or the sensation of being watched, of being judged. Again a strange "screen" is projected over the courtroom in front of the judge's seat, displaying the following:
The jury turn to look at the FINAL ANSWERS provided by the subjects, expressions intelligible as ever, but their responses varied with the little bits of personality you've come to know. You may get the feeling that all four are very pensive, thoughtful, and overall pleased by the answers they were given. They are impressed by how quickly and seamlessly the group moved to work together, despite differences.
There is a part that has them tilting their heads in confusion, communicating to each other with silent looks and expressive hand gestures. The confusion doesn't seem to lessen, but a handwave indicates they should shelve this for daily evening meeting.
Instead of a judge, the one with a running waterfall rises and speaks:
"Congratulations to you eighteen on a successful program! With this, the two-week study has concluded. You will be able to return to your worlds, and compensation will be granted tomorrow. Until then, you may continue to use the locations and the amenities provided. We'll be sure to fix up what instabilities and abnormalities remain right away."
The barrier that prevented them from leaving without permission disappears. The locations, which had been glitching out all week and especially in the last nine hours, will stabilize within the next half-hour after your release.
At this point, the NPCs will be unavailable to speak with.
